People who don't know better call me an artist. Is art the result of what ends up on a canvas after a monkey throws paint from a bucket in front of a huge fan? Or is it fine deliberate brush strokes that create a mood and time as precise as someone like Norman Rockwell wants to take it. Norman considered himself an illustrator not an artist. How could he compete with the genius of a monkey? Or perhaps better put, why even compete with what a so called art critics considers to be art? What difference does it make? A widely accepted definitions of art is "to bring order to the chaotic material of human experience." If that is true all possible realities that can exist through mans touch(life) is art no matter how maddening it seems.
Hey, perhaps I', an artist after all.
The "art" pictured here is from my early teens through today.
